The Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad will hold its first regular season meet in more than a year when the Sabers travel to the Lady Plainesmen Relays at Belle Plaine. Early on, Coach Cam Parker, like many coaches will try to experiment with his girls and see what events they are strongest at. He says it will be a lot of trial and error in the first couple of meets.
Parker:
“We’ll see where things shake out and we’ll try some different girls in different meets and get our best opportunity to run on the Blue Oval.”
Parker is looking at his distance runners many of which were on the cross country squad this fall, including two time state qualifier Rylee Dunkin. Parker hopes to have a line up that is set by midseason.
