Melcher-Dallas’ track teams will be opening their season with two meets on the road, including a co-ed meet at Meskwaki.

The Saints’ first meet at Meskwaki is next Monday, which will also be their first co-ed track meet of the season. After Melcher-Dallas’ first meet, both teams will compete in road meets next Thursday at two different locations. The girls will have a meet at Interstate-35, where the boys will take a trip to Clarke. For girls coach Amy Stuart, she is going to be focused on filling events this spring.

“We’ve lost some of the talent, so I know we can fill all the events but I am not sure that we are going to be in all the events’ areas so I am just going to have to make adjustments and see how we can get there.”

Melcher-Dallas’ Co-Ed Meet at Meskwaki Settlement begins at 4:30 PM.
