Two goals in the first game of the Central College men’s soccer team’s season earned forward Nathan Casas the American Rivers Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday night.

Casas broke a scoreless tie two minutes into the second half to give Central a 1-0 lead. He scored again before Central finished off a 3-0 victory against Coe College. Those were his only shot attempts of the game. It’s a career-first honor for Casas. Central had six players of the week in 2019.

Central is at Loras College Saturday afternoon for a 3:30 p.m. match.
