A former Pella volleyball standout has earned recognition for her success in college. Emily Holterhaus was named First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference in the spring 2021 season. Holterhaus finished the regular season averaging 3.13 kills and 2.96 digs per set — the first of which ranked 9th best among conference hitters. The Panthers open Missouri Valley Conference tournament competition at 5:00 this evening against Drake. Holterhaus was a four-year standout athlete for the Lady Dutch, racking up All-State Honors in volleyball, basketball, and track, and leading Pella to four state volleyball tournament appearances.
