The new leadership at Simpson College over the past year, including new president Marsha Kelliher, Vice President for Marketing and Strategic Communications Cathy Cole, and Athletic Director Marty Bell, is working to hone their message to prospective students and adding a personal touch to recruiting. Cole tells KNIA News the project is multi-layered and includes working with alumni and faculty describing the experience at Simpson College, as well as creating a connection.

“Our strength here at Simpson is Coach Jeter knows your name, President Kelliher knows your name when you are walking by, and people stop and greet you by name. It happens all day everyday here. So you really are a name and not a number, and this is our way of demonstrating it. I think it really does matter.”
