Pella Regional Health Center is welcoming Board Certified Otolaryngologist, Joseph K. Whitman, DO to the medical staff. Dr. Whitman earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri and completed his internship and residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Whitman practices primarily at the UnityPoint Health – Grinnell ENT Clinic in Grinnell, Iowa and will be holding hours each Monday in the Pella Regional Visiting Specialty Clinic.

Dr. Whitman is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions involving the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. He performs procedures including, but not limited to:

· ear tubes
· sinus surgery
· septoplasty
· tonsillectomy
· pediatric and adult allergy diagnosis and treatment
· nasal obstruction
· chronic ear infections
