The Pella girls tennis team opened the 2021 season with a win over Red Rock rival Knoxville, winning 8-3.
The Lady Dutch earned singles wins from freshmen Emily Blom in 2 and Alloree Else in 4 singles, with juniors Allie Singer and Willa Kelpe rounding out victories.
Olivia Masdaam and Alyssa Vaske earned tiebreaker wins over Amelia Poe and Noelle Ruckman in 1 and 3 singles to highlight the Panthers, and their doubles duo of Masdaam and Josalin McKeever defeated Poe and Else in No. 1 doubles.
