Soccer Looks To Bounce Back Against Chariton
PCM’s soccer team will get back into action looking for their first win of the season against Chariton at home.
PCM lost their first game of the season last Thursday against Pella Christian by way of penalty kicks after two extra periods. The two goals were scored by Jerit Johnston and Carson Vandelune. The Mustangs will be going up against a Chariton team, who also lost their first game of the season at Creston. Coach Darin Telfer tells KRLS Sports that he is looking for his team to pass the ball better as the season goes on.
“Just keep a lot of what we have been working on in practice. Just playing together, getting contact and confidence to pass the ball to each other and have confidence in each other as well.”
The match begins at PCM at 7:30 PM.
