The City of Knoxville will participate in Iowa State University Extension & Outreach’s Great Iowa Road Trip: Southern Edition at the end of this month. Chamber of Commerce Director Emma Skahill says that this is to boost the local economy after shutdowns of the pandemic.
“This event is geared towards helping revitalize small businesses that felt the impact of COVID-19. Knoxville is one of the communities that’s partnering in this. We have seven businesses that are participating: Candi’s Flowers, Reclaiming the Joy, Raiment, Walnut Hill Designs, The Well, Peace Tree Brewing, and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum are all participating, so it’s a really great showing for the Knoxville Businesses.”
Small retail businesses, restaurants, lodging and attractions in Marion, Mahaska and Jasper counties are invited to apply to offer special discounts and deals. Learn more about the Great Iowa Road Trip here and on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
