Norwalk Track & Field Teams Perform Well Thursday

The Norwalk track & field teams were in action Thursday, and took home quality performances. The boys team was the champion at Nevada with 194 points. Top finishers included:

Chase McKinney – 1st in 100M Dash
Dillon Ranck – 2nd in 200M Dash
Chase McKinney – 1st in 400M Dash
Dillon Ranck – 2nd in 400M Dash
Brody Lucas – 1st in 800M Run
Ben Hanson – 2nd in 800M Run
Chase McKinney – 1st in 110M Hurdles
Grant Miller – 2nd in 110M Hurdles
Derek Webster – 1st in 1600M Run
Pat Foster – 2nd in 1600M Run
Ethan Franklin – 1st in 3200M Run
Braedon Carlson – 1st in 400M Hurdles
Carter Bunch – 1st in Shot Put
1st in 4x800M Relay
1st in 44M Shuttle Hurdle Relay

The girls finished fourth at Waukee with 87 points. Top finishers included:

Claire Farrell – 1st in 200M Dash
Claire Farrell – 1st in 400M Dash
Marin Randall – 1st in Long Jump

Both teams are back in action Monday, hosting a coed invitational.

Teams in action today include boys tennis at Urbandale at 4:00, girls soccer at Des Moines Lincoln at 4:45, and boys soccer at home against Ankeny Centennial. Head Coach Dustin Kralik expects a tough battle, but knows his team will have momentum after a blowout road win over Pella Christian.
