In their first triangular of the season, Melcher-Dallas’ girls’ golf team finished third out of three teams behind the host Moravia and Wayne with a score of 280.
The Saints finished five strokes behind the 2nd-place Cardinals. Melcher-Dallas’ top golfer of the meet was 2019 state-qualifying golfer Kynser Reed, who finished with a 53. Reed’s score was third overall in the meet.
Melcher-Dallas’ next meet will be Thursday, when they have a meet at fellow Marion County foe Pleasantville. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.
