Opening night at the Knoxville Raceway is less than a week away as the sprint car season opens. All three classes will be running on Saturday as the track is looking forward to having a full season of not just sprint car racing, but as Marketing Director Kendra Jacobs says this season’s schedule will highlight more than just sprint cars in 2021.
Jacobs:
“This biggest season that Knoxville Raceway has ever had with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and of course the Superstar Racing Experience. We’re looking forward to kicking this season off.”
The NASCAR Camping World Trucks will race on July 9th as part of a weekend when the USAC Sprint Cars come in for the Corn Belt Clash on July 10th. The World of Outlaws have a two-night show on June 11th and 12th with the Brownells Big Guns Bash. Also highlighting the schedule is the Superstar Racing Experience on June 19th. The 60th Running of the Knoxville Nationals will be August 11th-14th. Jacobs does caution that COVID-19 mitigations are currently in place.
