Knoxville Hospital & Clinics will hold a skin cancer screening clinic on Tuesday, April 20th. Nurse Practitioner Danise Hyatt tells KNIA/KRLS News that as UV radiation levels continue to increase with the changing of the seasons, it’s important to be mindful and take precautions. She says this clinic will detect any abnormalities.

“Skin exams are the best way to detect skin cancer early, before it spreads or becomes more difficult to treat. A medical professional will be able to visualize subtle changes in the skin that may otherwise go unnoticed.”
