The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad remained undefeated on Monday after winning a triangular over Clarke and Chariton at Pine Knolls. Knoxville shot a 223 just ahead of Clarke’s 225 with Chariton in third place at 243. Amy Sullivan shot a 52 for runner up, while Faith Roozeboom was third overall with a 53. The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad was dominant in a 5-0 win over Chariton on Monday. Keegan Cox led the goals scored with two, Emmett Schmidt and Tyler Kearney had one each. Kyle Davis, Cox, and Jay Kellar had assists. Coach Dylan Mick tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it is fun watching practice because of how competitive it is.

“Guys are trying to make the most of everything, if we’re scrimmaging or doing a drill they want to make an impression and they want varsity minutes. I have guys coming off a field saying they want to start and that’s what they’re after.

Girls Golf heads to Centerville for an invitational today, while boys soccer has the rest of the week off until a meeting with PCM Monday.
