The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. After moving the item from the consent agenda to the item agenda, they approved hiring Troy Pearson as the Head Boys Basketball Coach by a 3-2 vote. They approved a dance team fundraising effort, a three-year agreement with Knoxville Area Community Theatre. They approved Cardinal of Eldon’s request to join the South Central Conference. They passed the second and third readings of a board policy requiring the use of seatbelts on equipped school buses.

The board approved the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget, the budget guarantee resolution, and proposals for the financial audit.

The next Knoxville School Board meeting will be April 26th at 5:30 p.m.
