There have been 20 new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County reported to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database over the past week. The Iowa Department of Public Health considers 58 active and infectious, and four residents are currently hospitalized with the virus. In total, 8,126 residents are fully vaccinated with either a two-dose series or the Johnson and Johnson one shot, and another 3,073 have initiated either Pfizer or Moderna.
