PCM Boys Golf Finishes Second in Meet at Bondurant-Farrar

PCM’s boys’ golf team finished second behind Gilbert with a score of 363 in their road meet at Bondurant-Farrar.

The Mustangs’ low golfer of the meet was Gatlin Boell, who finished with a score of 82, 11 strokes behind Meet Medalist Brock Snyder of Gilbert. PCM’s second-lowest scorer of the night was Andrew Mitchell with a 93. The Mustangs also finished 14 strokes higher than third-place North Polk.

PCM’s boys’ golf will be back in action Thursday for a meet at Des Moines Christian. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.

PCM Girls Golf Travels to Pleasantville

PCM’s girls’ golf team will go back on the road for a quadrangular at fellow Marion County Foe Pleasantville for their next meet.

The Mustangs will compete with the host, Martensdale-St. Mary’s, and Southeast Warren in their upcoming meet. PCM had a score of 269 in their first meet of the season at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, led by low scorer Eleigh Davis with a 62.

The meet will begin at Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.

PCM Coed Track Travels to Marion County Foe Pella Christian

PCM’s track teams will be back in action competing with Pleasantville travelling to fellow Marion County foe Pella Christian for a coed track meet today.

The Mustangs’ boys are coming off winning the Baxter Bolts Relays with 131 points, ten more than second-place Bondurant-Farrar. PCM is coming off finishing first place in six total events, including two individual and four team events.

The Mustangs’ girls are coming off finishing second with 127 points, seven behind the host in the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Girls Invitational. PCM had four first place finishes in the invitational, including two in both individual and team events.

The meet will begin at Pella Christian High School at 4:30 PM.

PCM Soccer Opens Conference Play Against Nevada

PCM’s soccer team will be back in action for their Heart of Iowa Conference Opener at home when they battle with Nevada.

The Mustangs currently sit at 1-2 on the season, getting their first win of the season Friday at Atlantic with a 3-0 shutout. PCM was led by goals from Juniors Tyler Kuecker and Carson Vandelune. The Mustangs will go up against Nevada, who currently sits at 2-0.

Action begins at PCM High School at 7:30 PM.
