Pleasantville Girls Golf Continues Home Meet Run

Pleasantville’s girls golf team will have another home meet today, this one will be a triangular with Melcher-Dallas and Carlisle.

The Trojans are coming into the meet finishing first in the first three meets of the season, including finishing 59 strokes ahead of the next-lowest scorer, PCM in their last meet. Pleasantville had the three low golfers in the meet, who were Kristen Roe, Breanna Benge, and Lauren Cook.

The meet will begin at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.

Pleasantville Girls Track Goes On the Road to Central Decatur

Pleasantville’s girls’ track team will go back on the road for their next meet, which is at Central Decatur High.

The Trojans will compete with 11 other teams, including the host, conference rivals Des Moines Christian and Interstate-35, and fellow Marion County foe Melcher-Dallas. Pleasantville is coming off finishing eighth in their last meet at Pella Christian, ahead of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.

The meet will begin at Central Decatur High School at 4:30 PM.

Pleasantville Boys Track Travels Up to Saydel Looking For Better Finish

Pleasantville’s boys’ track team will go right back on the road, as they take a trip north to Saydel for their next meet.

The Trojans will compete with 14 other teams including conference opponents Madrid and Panorama. Pleasantville is coming off finishing sixth place with 46.5 points in their last meet at Pella Christian, finishing ahead of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Centerville.

The meet will begin at Saydel High School at 4:30 PM.
