High school track and field athletes know where they are heading to try and qualify for the 2021 state meet. The events will all be held on Thursday, May 13th at 4 p.m.

Pella is a host in Class 3A, and will welcome Knoxville and six other teams. Click here for the full Class 3A sites.

Pella Christian, PCM, and Pleasantville will go to West Marshall in Class 2A. Click here or the full Class 2A sites.

In Class 3A and Class 2A, the top two place winners in each event plus the next eight (8) performances statewide from qualifying meet place winners (1st – 8th) will advance to the state meet.

Indianola and Norwalk head to Waukee in Class 4A. Click here or the full Class 4A sites. In Class 4A, the top two place winners in each event plus the next twelve (12) best performances statewide from qualifying meet place winners (1st – 8th) will advance to the state meet.

Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas will travel to the 1A Madrid site. Click here for the full Class 1A sites. In Class 1A, the top place winner in each event plus the next fourteen (14) best performances statewide from qualifying meet place winners will advance to the state meet. If there are ties, the highest qualifying meet place winner (1st – 8th) will be the qualifier.

There will be no more than 24 qualifiers for any event.
