Melcher-Dallas Golf Travels For Coed Meet with Conference Foe Lamoni
Both of Melcher-Dallas’ golf teams will go back on the road for their next meet as they will compete at Bluegrass Conference foe Lamoni Monday.
Both teams are coming off finishing towards the bottom of the rankings in their last meet at Moravia. The Saints’ girls lost their dual meet with Moravia 243-270. The low golfer of the day was Kynser Reed, who medaled with a score of 54. Melcher-Dallas’ boys finished third in their triangular with the host and Wayne with a score of 252. The Saints’ low golfer of the day was Trevon Johnson. Johnson scored a 52, good for 11th individually.
The meet will begin at the Lamoni Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.
Melcher-Dallas Boys Track Has Meet at Wayne
In their last road meet before their lone home meet of the season, Melcher-Dallas’ boys’ track team will go back on the road for a meet with Wayne at Corydon.
The Saints are coming off finishing sixth in their last meet at Central Decatur with a score of 34 points, finishing ahead of conference opponents Orient-Macksburg and Mormon Trail. The highest-finishing athlete for Melcher-Dallas was Logan Godfrey, who finished fourth in the high jump.
The meet will begin at the George Saling Athletic Complex in Corydon at 4:30 PM.
