Pella completely dominated the Knoxville Boys Tennis Invitational on Saturday sweeping the singles and doubles titles enroute to 35 points. 22 more than runner-up North Polk while the Panthers were 3rd with nine points. Pella’s Lucas Heap took 1st place in the singles with runner-up going to Caleb Briggs also of Pella. Knoxville’s Gabe Matthias was 4th and Carter Short finished in 5th place. It was more of the same in the doubles where the Little Dutch swept the top two spots as Jack Edwards and Vaughn Thompson won the title with Adam Scheur and Jack Briggs took runner-up. For Knoxville, the team of Andrew Orr and Jaxon Zuck took 6th. The Panthers are off until Thursday when they travel to Davis County, while Pella travels to Grinnell on Tuesday.
