Melcher-Dallas’ girls golf team will go back on the road for their next meet, returning to a familiar place for a dual meet with Moravia.
The Saints have been at Moravia twice so far this year, both in the previous two weeks. The Saints finished at the bottom in each meet, with the low golfer in both meets being 2019 state-qualifying golfer Kynser Reed with scores of 53 and 51, respectively. The Saints will be looking to win their first meet outright as a team this season. Coach Adam Wadle tells KNIA Sports that working around the greens will be key in the meet.
“Those greens are fast and large. Ideally, if we can get three putts on every green I think that would be a pretty good marker for these kids to make. They are using half their shots around the greens.”
The meet will begin at the Preserve on Rathbun Lake at 4:00 PM.
