A former starting kicker for Pella High is trying to help his collegiate team earn a three-peat National Championship. Chase Carter and the No. 1 Morningside Mustangs will enter the NAIA Football Championship Series – Quarterfinal game this Saturday against Baker University (7-0) at 1:00. The sophomore kicker’s current career extra points made total is 134, and is the fourth best in school history. Carter was the starting kicker for the 2019 National Champions.
