Five varsity events highlight the Norwalk sports schedule today. The girls golf team travels to Oskaloosa for an afternoon invitational with several other schools. Head Coach Steve Wermerskirchen says that the short game is a point of emphasis for his team after a second place finish in Pella on Tuesday

Action begins at 1:00 p.m. at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.

The tennis teams return to Little Hawkeye Conference play against Newton. The girls team hosts the Cardinals while the boys travel to Newton. Both meets begin at 4:15.

The girls track & field team returns for the first time this week, making the trip north for a meet at Roland-Story. Action starts at 4:30.

Capping the day is a non-conference boys soccer match as the Warriors play host to #10 Johnston. The 4-4 Warriors will look to move back above .500 with what would be a mild upset. Kickoff from Warrior Stadium is scheduled for 7:30.
