PCM Girls Track Back on Road at Conference Opponent Roland-Story

After having Margo Chipps qualify to compete at the Blue Oval in Drake, PCM’s girls track team will go back on the road for a meet at Roland-Story.

The Mustangs will be competing in their first meet since last Thursday, which was a wild and crazy night for PCM. Coach Eric Karr tells KRLS Sports that he was proud of Chipps for qualifying for the Drake Relays.

“We don’t talk a lot about winning, we talk about competing and being successful and there are ways to be successful. You have shuttle hurdles that just missed out, Margo’s 400 hurdles that just missed out, but how can you not think that that was a successful night?

The Mustangs finished eighth in the meet with a total of 53 points, ahead of Glidden-Ralston, Nodaway Valley, Exira-EHK, and Paton-Churdan. PCM will hope for a higher finish, competing with conference opponents Roland-Story and West Marshall.

The meet will begin at 4:30 PM.

PCM Soccer Back at Home For Rematch with Central Iowa United

The win over PCM is Central Iowa United’s only win of the season thus far, matching PCM’s win total for the season. The Mustangs’ only win of the season was April 9 at Atlantic, which was a 3-0 shutout.

The match will begin at PCM High School at 5:30 PM.
