
Pleasantville Golf Back at Home for Coed Conference Triangular
Pleasantville’s golf teams will have their next triangular with conference foes Des Moines Christian and Van Meter at their home course, the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
This will be the first time both Trojans’ squads have competed in a meet since last week because of inclement weather. Pleasantville’s girls finished second in a meet for the first time this season last Thursday. The Trojans finished ahead of Melcher-Dallas, but behind Carlisle. Pleasantville’s boys won their first meet of the season last Tuesday at Shady Oaks in a quadrangular with Melcher-Dallas, Southeast Warren, and Martensdale-St. Mary’s.
The meet will begin at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.
Pleasantville Track on Road as Boys Go To Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Girls to Baxter
Both Pleasantville track squads will go back on the road for their next meets as the boys will travel to Martensdale-St. Mary’s, while the girls will go north for a meet with Baxter.
Both Trojans’ squads will be competing in a meet for the first time this week after previous meets were shut down due to inclement weather. The last time both squads competed were last Thursday. Pleasantville’s girls’ last meet was at Central Decatur, where they finished eighth. The Trojans’ boys finished 15th in their last meet at Saydel.
Both meets will begin at 4:30 PM.
