Four sports for Knoxville are in action today. The boys and girls tennis squads will be playing as the boys head to Davis County and the girls will face what is the consensus pick for the South Central Conference title at the Joel Tonda Tennis Courts in Knoxville. Coach Nick DeMoss tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, while his team is not the favorite to win the title this season, he still expects the girls to improve and keep that goal in mind of pulling off the conference championship.

DeMoss:
“We’re focused on doing the best we can everyday, and we’re also focused on improving on the things we don’t do as well, and our whole focus is to win another South Central Conference championship and try to pull that off.”

The class 3A #12 Knoxville Girls Golf Squad will head to Oskaloosa for an 18-hole invitational at Edmundson. On the pitch at Ken Locke Stadium the Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad will host Indianola. The Panthers are coming off a road win over Fairfield and have shut out their last three opponents. The Indians are 2-3 on the season and are coming off a 10-0 loss to Dallas Center-Grimes.
