knoxville-vs-indianola

The Indianola Girls Soccer Squad dealt Knoxville a two/nithing shut out on Thursday at Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville. The Indians’ two goals came from Megan Howard, who slipped one by 11:00 into the match and added one more with just :13 remaining in the second half. For Knoxville it was a frustrating night, but junior captain Taylor Jones is confident moving forward on her team’s outlook on the season.

Jones:
“We’ve been playing so well together and it’s been amazing and I know when we get healthy and get back to full strength we’ll be scoring goals and it’ll be awesome.”

The Panthers were short five players who were either injured or unavailable for the match on Thursday. Knoxville is now 3-4 on the season and will host Centerville on Tuesday, while Indianola is 3-3 and will travel to Nevada on Monday.
