There have been 17 new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County over the past week reported to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database, including 14 in the past three days. In total, 46 are considered active and infectious by the Iowa Department of Public Health, and two individuals are hospitalized locally. There are 8,936 Marion County residents fully vaccinated and 3,098 who have initiated a two-shot Moderna or Pfizer series.
