Melcher-Dallas’ girls track team went back to the track Friday night and finished third in the Bear Classic Relays, finishing behind the host and English Valleys.

The Saints had one of their best meets of the season, finishing with six top-two finishes in individual events. J’Lyn Knutson’s great season continued as she finished first in the 800 meter, 1500 meter, and 3000 meter runs. Grace Overgaard finished first in the discus with a length of 102’. Karsyn Mateer finished second in the high jump and Haley Godfrey finished second in shot put. The Saints had a total of 89 team points in the meet.

Melcher-Dallas’ next meet is a coed track meet Monday at Moravia. The meet will begin at 4:30 PM.
