It is week two of the Knoxville Raceway Season tonight as all three sprint car classes will be running. Last week was highlighted with the addition of some World of Outlaws on Knoxville’s opening night due to the Outlaws race being cancelled in Texas. All three A-Mains last week went down to the final lap and the Pro Sprints class could be one of the most competitive in recent seasons with the addition of new talent and experience this season. One of the experienced drivers and defending Pro Sprints Champion is Matthew Stelzer. He told KNIA/KRLS last week on Live Track Side that he is not running for points this season, just looking for wins.
Stelzer:
“We’re just here to get wins, we’re not running for a championship and just having fun. We may not be here on some nights, just depending on what’s happening at home, but we’re here to win races.”
Listen for coverage tonight with Live Track Side at 5:00pm, and flag-to-flag coverage with Race Nights Live at 7:00pm on KNIA and kniakrls.com.
