The City of Indianola city-wide cleanup begins today. Unwanted items will be picked up on recycling day, and must be out on the curb by 7am. Only large items not hauled through the weekly service will be picked up, and does not include construction materials, railroad ties, or tires, and items that are bulky and difficult to handle such as swing sets must be cut up or dismantled into pieces no longer than four feet.

Thursday will be the hazardous waste collection at the Indianola Brush Facility which includes fluorescent light bulbs, aerosol cleaners, and oil filters among many other items. For more information on the cleanup week, go click below.
