Knoxville’s downtown will be assessed next week by members of the Iowa Economic Development Authority Downtown Resource Center. The assessment is an on-site study of the downtown, including a public presentation at the end of the visit and a written report that will help Knoxville administrators with planning efforts.

Following the assessment, a public presentation will be given, where the team will outline findings and give recommendations. Residents are invited to the presentation, which will be held at noon on Thursday, May 6th at Grand Theater. Capacity will be limited to 50 percent and masks will be required.
