Pleasantville Girls Golf Continues Home Meet Stretch

Pleasantville’s girls golf team will be back at home once again for a quadrangular with Melcher-Dallas, Carlisle, and North Polk.

This meet will also be the first 18-hole meet of the season for the Trojans. Pleasantville is coming off a triangular where they edged out conference opponent Panorama by one stroke to take the top spot. The Trojans had Kristen Roe and Breanna Benge both score below a 50 with scores of 47 and 49, respectively.

The meet will begin at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 2 PM.

Pleasantville Girls Track Back on Road to West Marshall

Pleasantville’s girls track team will go back on the road for their next meet of the season when they go to West Marshall.

The Trojans are coming off finishing tied for fifth in the PCM Invitational Monday with a total of 71 points. Pleasantville had two first-place finishes in the meet, which came from Sierra Hallman in discus and Kaylee Hodenfield in shot put. The Trojans tied with Pella’s Junior Varsity team and nine points ahead of East Marshall. West Marshall also competed in the invitational and finished second with a total of 129 points.

The meet will begin at West Marshall at 4:30 PM.

Pleasantville Boys Track Travels to PCM

Pleasantville’s boys track team will travel for their next meet of the season as they compete with fellow Marion County foes Melcher-Dallas and Knoxville at PCM.

The Trojans are coming off finishing 12th in the Mount Ayr Relays with a total of 45 points, 13 more than 13th-place Nodaway Valley. Pleasantville got two third-place finishes from Matthew Kauffman in the discus and shot put. Pleasantville will compete with fellow Marion County foes Melcher-Dallas and Knoxville.

The meet at PCM will begin at 4:30 PM.
