The Indianola girls tennis team defeated Pella Thursday afternoon on the road in Little Hawkeye Conference play 6-5, maintaining their undefeated conference record. The Indians dominated in doubles play, getting wins from the squads of Paige Bily/Aubree Freshly, Melina Darrah/Anna Jordan, Hannah Price/Kaelyn Kindelspire, and Brynn Bishop/Keely Gruebel, and wins from Paige Bily and Hannah Price in singles play to earn the victory.

The Indians are now 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play. They will next play on Tuesday at Nevada.

The Indianola boys tennis squad fell to state title contender Pella 11-0 on their home courts. The Indians are now 6-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play, and will match up with Knoxville on Monday.

The Indianola boys soccer team fell on their home field to Perry Thursday 2-1. The Indians got behind 1-0 at the end of the first half, and got back into the contest with a goal from Jackson Sinclair, but couldn’t get another to equalize. Indianola falls to 1-8 on the season, and will next play Oskaloosa on Tuesday.

The Indianola boys track and field team took a limited team to Waukee Thursday afternoon, finishing in 8th place with 17 points. The Indians top finishers included:

The Indians will next hit the track on Tuesday at Norwalk for the Little Hawkeye Conference meet.
