PCM Girls Golf Finish Seventh in Home Tournament

PCM’s girls golf team finished seventh in their lone home tournament of the season, which was an 18-hole meet.

The Mustangs’ low golfer of the meet was Eleigh Davis, who finished with a 109, including a 50 on the back nine. Riley Johannes and Tori Peterson finished with a score of 119. Johannes scored a 57 on the front nine and Peterson shot a 56 on the back nine.

PCM’s next meet will be their conference tournament at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center Wednesday. The meet will begin at 9:00 A.M.

PCM Girls Track Finish 10th @ Carlisle

PCM’s girls track team finished 10th out of 13 teams in the Wildcat Classic at Carlisle Thursday night.

The Mustangs finished with a total of 33 points, placing ahead of Creston, Grinnell, Knoxville, and Nevada. PCM had one first-place finish in the meet, which came from Drake Relay qualifier Margo Chipps. Chipps finished first in the 400 meter hurdle with a time of 1:07.60.

PCM’s next meet will be their conference tournament meet at home. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.

PCM Boys Track Finishes at the Top in Home Meet

PCM’s boys track meet topped their final home meet of the regular season, finishing with a total of 173 points, 13 ahead of Pleasantville.

The Mustangs had five first-place finishes and seven second-place finishes in the meet. Here is a look at the first and second-place finishes for PCM:

The Mustangs’ next meet of the season will be their conference tournament next Thursday at home. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.

PCM Soccer vs. Bondurant-Farrar Preview

PCM’s soccer team will look for their second consecutive win as they have a home match with Bondurant-Farrar tonight.

The Mustangs are coming off a shootout victory over Chariton in their last meet, 3-2. PCM got goals in regulation from Justin Johnston and Caden Bouwkamp, before Nik Ball and Emma George knocked in shootout goals for the victory. The Mustangs currently stand at 2-6 on the season and look for win number three for 2021.

The match will begin at PCM High School at 7:00 PM.
