This week has been peak bloom for springtime in the City of Pella. According to the Bloom Status map updated by the Pella Community Services Department, thousands of tulips are at their best heading into the weekend and the upcoming Tulip Time festival. While warm weather this weekend will push some blooms past their prime, the City of Pella Parks Department and Pella Historical Society and Museums expected several of their beds to be entering their best heading into the festival, as several late varieties are now starting to show their full color.
