Three area girls tennis teams clashed at Caldwell Park in Pella Saturday for the Lady Dutch invitational.

No. 5 in 1A Pella placed 3rd, No. 6 in 1A Pella Christian was 5th, and Knoxville finished 6th in the tournament featuring a singles and doubles bracket from six different teams, which also included Oskaloosa, Ottumwa, and meet champions No. 2 in Class 1A Waterloo Columbus.

The Lady Dutch were led by a 3rd place finish from Emily Blom and 7th place mark for Alloree Else among individuals, and the doubles pair of Allie Singer and Amelia Poe in 4th in their bracket.

Pella Christian was led by a 6th place finish from Katy Roose in singles and the same spot for the doubles pair of Megan Kramer and Kelly Van Wyk.

Olivia Maasdam and Josalin McKeever were the lone scorers for Knoxville, earning a 7th place finish in the doubles bracket.

The Panthers are next in action Thursday at home, while the Eagles host Oskaloosa today, and Lady Dutch head to Newton
