PCM Soccer Shut Out by Greene County

PCM’s soccer team got shut out for the second match in a row, as they were trounced by Greene County 7-0.

The Mustangs’ record dropped to 2-8 on the season, including 0-2 in conference play. This is PCM’s sixth time they are shutout this season and have been outscored in conference matches by a combined score of 17-0.

PCM’s next match will be next Monday when they travel to Albia. The match will begin at 7:00 PM.

PCM Boys Golf Conference Tournament Preview

No. 7 in Class 2A PCM’s boys golf team will begin postseason play as they travel to Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center for the Heart of Iowa Conference Tournament.

The Mustangs are coming off finishing sixth at the Panthers Invitational in Knoxville Saturday, finishing ahead of Pella Christian with a score of 373. The low golfer for the meet was 19th-ranked Andrew Mitchell, who scored an 85. He was followed up by Gatlin Boell, who scored a 91.

The tournament will begin at Lincoln Valley Golf Course at 9 AM.
