The 86th Tulip Time festival officially kicks off today, and while some modifications to the event are in place, including an exclusion of parades, several activities are planned throughout the City of Pella.

Tulip Queen Alyssa Geetings will be coronated this afternoon on the Tulip Toren, after a processional featuring the 2020 Royal Court and Queen Hanna Kendall. Afternoon entertainment in the grandstand includes the Dutchesses, Cheese Market, Pella Dutch Dancers, Parade of Provinces, and Street Scrubbers.

Tonight’s featured Feesthouden performer is the Living Word Fellowship Worship Team from Knoxville, with evening activities starting at 6:30 p.m. Click here for a full schedule.
