Pleasantville Boys Golf Conference Tournament Recap, Preview at Nodaway Valley

Pleasantville’s boys golf squad finished eighth out of 11 teams in the West Central Conference Tournament at Panorama Wednesday.

The Trojans scored a total of 424 overall. The low golfer for Pleasantville was Jake Hiemstra, who scored a 96. Carter Ollom finished second with a score of 105. Ryder Thill, Larry Remster, Jesse Smith, and Jaxx Lovell each scored a 110 or higher.

Pleasantville will turn around and be right back in action today as they travel to Nodaway Valley for their next meet. The meet will begin at 1:30 PM.

Pleasantville Coed Track Travels to Newton

Pleasantville’s track squads will be back in action for their next meet as they travel to Newton with fellow Marion County foe Melcher-Dallas.

Both of the Trojans’ squads came off the West Central Conference Tournament. Pleasantville’s boys finished seventh in the tournament, placing ahead of Ogden, West Central Valley, and Woodward-Granger. Their only top-five finish of the meet was Matthew Kauffman in the shot put.

Pleasantville’s girls came off finishing ninth in the conference tournament with a total of 28 points. The Trojans had one top-two finish in the meet, which came in the shot put from Kaylee Hodenfield.

The meet will begin at Newton at 4:30 PM.
