The Central baseball team was at Buena Vista Friday to begin its penultimate conference series of the season, falling in a pair of low-scoring decisions, 1-0 and 6-2. The series resumes Sunday in Storm Lake.

The softball team traveled to St. Paul. MN for a non-conference doubleheader with Bethel. The Dutch split the series, falling 5-4 in 10 innings in the opener, but bounced back for a 4-1 win in game 2. Central is back in action Sunday to conclude the home series against Buena Vista.

The men’s tennis team was also in action, falling 5-0 to Coe in Decorah in the American Rivers Conference tournament.
