Pleasantville Girls Track Finishes Season with Third-Place Finish at Martensdale-St. Mary’s
Pleasantville’s girls track squad finished the regular season with a top-tier finish at Martensdale-St. Mary’s as they placed third as a team.
The Trojans had one first-place finish and four second-place finishes in the meet and were led by the duo of Sophia Mason and Danika Park. Mason had the Trojans’ lone first place finish in the 100 meter hurdles. Park also finished second in the 100 meter hurdles. Mason and Park placed second and third, respectively, in the long jump. Pleasantville had two second-place finishes in team events, including the distance medley and the 4×100 meter relay.
The next time Pleasantville will step foot on the track will be Thursday in district track action at West Marshall. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.
Pleasantville Boys Track Finishes Season at Nodaway Valley
Pleasantville’s boys track finished with six second-place finishes in their final meet of the season at Nodaway Valley Monday night.
The Trojans got second-place finishes in three individual and three team events in the meet. Here is a list of second-place finishes from the Nodaway Valley Boys Invite:
