Pleasantville Boys Golf Begins Playoff Action @ Davis County

Pleasantville’s boys golf begins sectional playoff action at Bloomfield Golf Course in Davis County today.

The Trojans’ completed their regular season Saturday when they finished third at the Colfax-Mingo Invitational behind PCM and Newton. Pleasantville had a team score of 407 and was led by Jacob Hiemstra. Hiemstra scored a 94 in the meet and was followed by Jaxx Lovell, who had a 98.

Sectional Playoff action begins at 10:00 AM.

Pleasantville Girls Golf Ends Regular Season at Knoxville

Pleasantville’s girls’ golf squad will finish their regular season with a meet at fellow Marion County foe Knoxville today.

The Trojans are coming off finishing second in the conference tournament meet, placing behind just Van Meter with a score of 414. Pleasantville had two golfers finish in the top five individually, who were Breanna Benge and Kristen Roe. Benge and Roe had scores of 95 and 98, respectively. This is the final meet of the regular season for the Trojans before playoff action begins.

The meet will begin at Pine Knolls Golf Course in Knoxville at 4:00 PM.
