Pleasantville Boys Golf Finishes Fourth in Sectional at Davis County

Pleasantville’s boys golf squad finished fourth in their sectional playoff at Davis County as they finished with a score of 383.

The Trojans finished behind PCM, Pella Christian, and Van Buren County in the meet. Carter Ollom and Larry Remster tied for the low golfer of the meet for Pleasantville with a score of 92. Jake Hiemstra finished third on the Trojans with a score of 96. Jaxx Lovell, Ryder Thill, and Carter Metcalf rounded the scoring with scores of 103, 105, and 116 respectively.

This meet concludes the season for the Pleasantville boys’ golf squad.

Pleasantville Girls Golf Recap at Knoxville

Pleasantville’s girls golf squad finished second in a quadrangular at Knoxville, which was their final meet of the regular season.

The Trojans finished with a score of 214, placing behind just the host, Knoxville. The low golfer of the meet was Kristen Roe who finished with a score of 44. Roe’s score tied for second individually with Lillie Peterson of Carlisle. Breanna Benge finished second on the Trojans with a score of 49. This meet concludes the regular season for Pleasantville.

The Trojans will have their regional playoff at home Monday. The meet will begin at 10:00 AM.
