PCM Girls Golf Begins Playoff Action at Panorama
PCM’s girls golf squad begins regional playoff action as they travel to the Lake Panorama National Golf Course Monday.
The Mustangs will compete with the host, ACGC, Des Moines Christian, Kuemper Catholic, OABCIG, Van Meter, and Woodward-Granger. PCM is coming off finishing fourth in their final meet of the regular season at Colfax-Mingo. The Mustangs were led by Tori Peterson, who shot a 66 in the meet.
Regional Playoff action begins Monday at 10:00 AM.
PCM Boys Golf Travels to Pella Christian
PCM’s boys golf squad will compete in their final regular season meet Monday as they travel to Pella Christian.
The Mustangs and Eagles are the two squads that qualified for the district playoff round Thursday after finishing in the top two of their sectional playoff meet at Davis County. PCM finished in first place with a score of 363 and had the lowest golfer in the meet, Andrew Mitchell with an 83.
The meet will begin at the Pella Golf and Country Club Monday at 2:00 PM.
PCM Soccer Will Look For First Home Win in Home Finale
PCM’s soccer squad will have their final home match of 2021 Monday as they will look for their first home win of the season, playing West Central Valley.
The Mustangs currently sit at 2-9 on the season and have lost their last three matches, being outscored 25-0. The last win for PCM was April 26 when they won a penalty kick shootout with Chariton, 3-2. The only other win for the Mustangs was April 9 when they beat Atlantic 3-0.
The match will begin at PCM High School Monday at 7:00 PM.
