The Indianola School Board removed the required mask mandate district wide at their meeting Monday evening, however the board recommends the wearing of a mask for the remaining nine days of school. The board also reviewed class sizes for the 2021-22 school year, approved the school handbook, approved contracts for the superintendent, associates, coaches and sponsors, and assignments, and approved the bids for the auditorium renovation project. The board also discussed over $1 million dollars in federal emergency relief funds, and heard reports from the board HR and facilities committees.
