The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad will get a familiar opponent to start the class 2A Sub State this Thursday. The Panthers will host Oskaloosa in a four/five seed match at Ken Locke Stadium. The Panthers and Indians played earlier in the season with Oskaloosa winning the match 2-1 on April 29th. Coach Dylan Mick is looking forward to playing the match as the Panthers were short handed.

Mick:
“You know if you want to make it to state, you’re going to have to play really good teams. We’re glad to have drawn Osky, because the last time we played them, we were without Emmett, and they guys know how much better we are with him on the field and we got them here at home so they’re looking forward to it.”

The match is scheduled to start Thursday at 6:30 with the winner traveling to Bondurant-Farrar on May 24th.
