The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The meeting started with mayoral proclamations of EMS Week and Public Works. They held a public hearing and approved an offer to purchase property at 613 W Main Street.

They discussed at length the city zoning definition of swimming pools and whether to require fences around backyards with pools. With no consensus, the council took no action. They also approved plats for the Industrial Park, East Elementary, and approved the proposal of sale of 401 3rd Street Place.

The next Knoxville City Council meeting will be June 7th at 6:15 p.m.
