Kynser Reed of Melcher-Dallas will be moving onto the next round of the playoffs as she finished third in the regional district meet at Pleasantville Monday.

The Saints as a team finished fourth in the regional meet, but it was Reed that led the way for Melcher-Dallas. Reed finished with a score of 100, good enough for third overall in the meet. Second on the Saints in scoring was Alyse Wadle with 137. Reed will advance to the district round next Monday.

Reed will compete at North Mahaska next Monday for a chance to advance to the state tournament for the second time in her career.
